In the words of Vince Lombardi, “The dictionary is the only place that success comes before work.  Work is the key to success, and hard work can and will help you accomplish anything.”  These are the words that sum up Terry Anderson.  His passion for farming and ranching started at a young age helping him gain the perspective of how hard work and dedication can help guide you to a successful future.

Terry graduated from Emporia State University in 1995 with his degree in Business Administration.  After graduation he accepted a position with Farm Bureau as a claims adjuster in Kansas City but found himself traveling home on the weekends to build his dream of starting his own farm & ranch operation.  It didn’t take long to realize that city life was not a good fit for him which landed him a job back home with Citizens State Bank in 1997.  Terry began building his future from the ground up, securing his position as VP at the Burlington Branch of Citizens State Bank, purchasing his own acreage to build a home and embark on his passion for ranching and leasing ground to fulfill his love of farming.  In 1999, after many hours of mentoring by Cheryl Ewy, he was recognized by the state of Kansas as a licensed appraiser.  He bought Neosho Valley Real Estate company from Mrs. Ewy and has appraised land and residential properties throughout the area for nearly 20 years.  Along with his dedication to farming, ranching, banking and his appraisal work, he finds time to help his community by representing the Coffey County Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter.

Terry is no stranger to hard work, integrity and providing sound advice where money and real estate change hands.  His familiarity with current market conditions, banking knowledge and countless connections across the state will provide the best fit for your appraisal needs.
